A Wind Farm at Glenough, Co. Tipperary

On behalf of ABO Wind Ireland, Rubicon carried out archaeological monitoring at Glenough, Co. Tipperary for four turbines and their associated access roads. The wind farm consists of ten Nordex N90 turbines as well as four Nordex N80 turbines and has a total capacity of 35 megawatts.
The turbines produce approximately 109 million kilowatt hours per year, an output that equals the supply of 65,000 people. The project represented the second planned and commissioned by ABO Wind Ireland. It has been producing electricity since 2011 and is currently operated by ABO Invest AG. |
