James Hession joined Rubicon Heritage Services in 2009 and is the Field Services Manager for all fieldwork projects undertaken throughout Leinster and Ulster. He has over 17 year’s expertise in commercial archaeology and is one of Rubicon’s most experienced managers. During his time with the company James has acted as Senior Archaeologist on a number of projects, managing a wide variety of projects ranging from multiperiod rural and urban excavations, to Stages (i) to (iv) on large infrastructural projects. James’s Project Manager experience includes contractual awareness, presentation to and mediation with clients, advising clients in accordance with best practice and ensuring that archaeological standards are met. He has a proven ability to provide accurate, well-presented information for the purpose of evaluation and has the necessary skills to operate within strict project timescales.
