Ewelina Rondelez has been a professional field archaeologist since 2004 and has worked in Ireland, Germany, Spain, Poland and Syria. After working on numerous archaeological research and road projects in Poland, she moved to Ireland in 2006. Since then she has worked as an assistant director, supervisor, surveyor, and post-excavation supervisor on various road projects including the N6, N7, N8, N18 and N22. Ewelina joined Rubicon Heritage in 2017 as a site supervisor on the N22 Macroom to Ballyvourney Road Scheme. Since then, she has been involved in a range of excavation, post-excavation and archiving projects. She is responsible for bringing many older archives up to National Museum of Ireland (NMI) and National Monuments Service (NMS) standards, liaising with the NMI and NMS, and coordinating material (finds) and documentary archive transfer and deposition.
