Graphics and IT Manager
Jonathan Millar has been continuously employed in commercial archaeology since he graduated from the University of York in 1998. Jonathan has gained broad experience across Scotland, England and Ireland as both a field archaeologist and post-excavation specialist and continues to divide his time between field and office. Since 2004 Jonathan has fulfilled the roles of Graphics Manager, Project Manager and I.T. Manager for Rubicon. He has been part of the excavation team on a number of internationally famous sites, including The Tarbat Discovery Programme, Portmahomack; the Scottish Parliament Excavations, Edinburgh; Inchmarnock Island Project, Bute and Caherduggan Castle Excavations, Cork. Jonathan has also been responsible for the delivery of high-profile graphics and design projects for both the private and public sectors, overseeing a team of archaeological illustrators on multi-million euro road schemes, providing Editorial Review, Quality Control and Stylistic Compliance over thousands of archaeological illustrations. Jonathan has spent well over 10,000 hours working with Adobe Creative Cloud Software, ArcGIS and AutoCAD and is expert in all aspects of Digital Illustration and archaeological dissemination.
