Stephen began work with Rubicon Heritage Services in 2006 and has worked as an archaeologist and surveyor on a wide variety of projects, gaining experience on site types from Mesolithic to post-medieval. His training in Health, Safety and Welfare has seen him fulfil the role of Health and Safety Officer on numerous occasions.
Stephen has also taken charge of administration and financial duties on major infrastructural projects. In addition to his on-site experience he is also adept at all facets of post-excavation work, including report writing, environmental processing and archiving. Most recently he acted as supervisor on the major excavation of a medieval tower house and associated moat at Caherduggan Castle in Co. Cork.
