Sara Nylund


Sara has been working in the archaeological services sector since 2001, having amassed experience across Scandinavia and Ireland. She has been with Rubicon Heritage Services since 2006. She specialises in illustration and photography with an emphasis on the production of technical drawings and graphics for publication, presentation and promotion.

Sara has worked on a number of high-profile graphics projects for institutions such as the National Museum of Ireland and University College Dublin, including the Rathgall and Lough Derravaragh excavations. In addition Sara served as a board member of the Association of Archaeological Illustrators & Surveyors, which has recently merged with the IfA. She has published widely on the subject of graphics, as well as on her archaeological interests which include Motte and Bailey castles.
