Louise has 15 years’ experience in commercial archaeology working on a wide variety of projects in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Louise has worked with the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland and her extensive experience includes upland survey, environmental impact assessments, watching briefs, urban and rural excavation and building recording.
Among the major sites she has worked on are the New Scottish Parliament Site, Edinburgh the Archerfield Estate, East Lothian and Mynydd y Cemmaes Windfarm, Wales. She has published widely on archaeological work in Scotland, and her paper in the Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland with Alison Sheridan and Trevor Cowie on Rameldry Farm won the prestigious RBK Stevenson Award.
