Enda is responsible for overseeing Rubicon’s survey and geophysics departments. He has worked on a multitude of projects across the UK and Ireland in this role, with clients ranging from the Scottish Forestry Commission to Lancashire County Council and the Grangegorman Development Agency. An accomplished surveyor and geophysicist, he also specialises in survey visualisation techniques.
Enda undertook his doctoral research on human settlement in the Karst landscape of the Burren and its interaction with seasonal flooding. His work has taken him to projects as far afield as Jamaica, along the way developing a multi-disciplinary approach to landscape studies which involves archaeology, physiographical studies, toponymy and analysis of documentary sources. This skill-set is ideally suited to assessment and analysis of large areas of the landscape, particularly with regard to developments such as linear infrastructure and renewables.
