Brian has responsibility for technical services and consultancy. He has been with the company since 2003 and in that time has managed a number of large scale projects for both the private and public sectors across Scotland, England and Ireland. These have included geophysical and topographical surveys, architectural heritage inventories, heritage audits and surveys of historic buildings, graveyards, waterways, bridges and railways.
Many of these projects have a significant outreach component, an area which Brian is passionate about. In addition to his survey experience he has lectured and published on post-medieval archaeology, most notably as it relates to abandoned homesteads of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Brian is also an accomplished archaeological photographer, his images having graced a number of well-known archaeological publications.
