Dave has in excess of 20 years of archaeological experience. Throughout that period he has developed expertise in a multitude of areas, from environmental assessment through to survey, excavation and post-excavation. His extensive project management experience has seen him deliver over 800 individual projects from birth to grave. Most recently a manager with John Moore Heritage Services, Dave also spent a number of years as an archaeological consultant in Wales.
Aside from his commercial expertise, Dave has worked on a range of archaeological research projects in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. An Honorary Research Fellow at University College London between 2005 and 2010, Dave constructed the first medieval ceramic form and fabric reference collection for Turkmenistan and is currently completing a PhD on Pottery Production in the Merv Oasis in the 8th- 14th Centuries.
